I’m writing this on February 9th 2016 – which is Safer Internet Day. The aim of this day is help all of us learn how to help children and young people stay safe on the Internet. On its own this is a great aim – and without any doubt worth supporting.
However if we look from a training and educational point of view then this site is very valuable. The training materials and best practices for Safer Internet Day can teach everyone some good lessons. This means that as a trainer I have to recommend that you spend some time taking a look. Doing so may well improve your use of the both the general and social internet. It will definitely leave you better equipped to help young people.
